The Shoalhaven Food Network is gearing up for its second year of the More Than Lunch series, running from July through to December 2026.
Iconic restaurants, wineries and food producers provide an immersive experience. In addition to a specially created two course lunch starting with a glass of something delicious on arrival, diners will be treated to a guest speaker, or tour of the brewery, winery, restaurant or farm, or culinary demonstration of the finest food and beverage products. Head chefs, proprietors and producers will share their insights and experiences.
The first series was a spectacular success, with Lunches held among the vines and groves, by a cosy fire, under shady trees and by the water. Participating restaurants were Kangaroo Valley Highgrove Olives and Catarina Catering, Pelican Shores, Sandbar, Cupitt's Winery, and Jim Wilds Oysters in collaboration with Bumpy Road Catering. Each establishment brings something special to the More Than Lunch experience. A lucky door prize adds to the fun, whether it be a cookbook, wine or delicious food products.
