It was exciting to see our Gaining through Training project kick off this year with 45 students from the Northern Shoalhaven High Schools.
Students showed enthusiasm, and enjoyed the workshops while learning how to explore coffee and barista skills, baking behind the scenes, and shaking up cocktails at Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
They then went on to learn and participate in preparing for service.
The finale of the familiarsation day was hearing the industry panel which consisted of Jack Dinney, Sam Smith, David Edwards, Ebony Wellman, Jonathan Villanueva, and Carissa Dawson respond to the open question time from the students and share stories from their careers.
